Retailers who have been victims of crime over the past 12 months are being urged to share their experiences in the ACS 2011 Crime Survey.
The evidence gathered will be submitted to the Home Office and used to inform the work of the National Retail Crime Steering Group.
The survey addresses a range of issues including burglary, robbery, physical violence and verbal abuse. It also examines crime prevention measures taken by retailers, and frequency of reporting crimes.
Association of Convenience Stores chief executive James Lowman urged retailers to share their experiences of crime. “In order to raise awareness it is essential that we gather information on retailers’ experience of crime and we hope that retailers will take time to participate in this important survey.”
The deadline for submissions is February 10, 2012, and the ACS Crime Survey can be accessed here
