Simply Fresh retailer Mehmet Guzel has opened his third store, at Hatfield railway station in Hertfordshire.
The 1,400sq ft store is the symbol group’s first site in a national rail station location. Over 2.3 million travelers pass through the station each year, both commuting into central London and visiting local employers Ocado, EE and The University of Hertfordshire.
The store follows Mehmet’s tried and tested offer of upmarket and organically-leaning grocery lines, with a focus on fresh and healthy produce.
Davinder Jheeta, creative director for SimplyFresh, said: “We are incredibly excited about the launch of our newest SimplyFresh store in Hatfield. We celebrate great local products and are hugely passionate about fresh food and drink and we look forward to supplying the residents of Hatfield and the local area with some fantastic specialist healthy products, as well as their everyday shopping items.”
The store is open from 6am-11pm Monday-Saturday, and 8am–10pm on Sundays.
