Changes to the directors of Unitas Wholesale have been announced.
Following an Annual General Meeting held last month, Andrew Wild and James Russell have confirmed their retirement from the Unitas Board.
Managing director of Small Beer Ltd, Robert Eastwood, was elected to the board to replace Andrew, representing the On Trade division while trading director of Global Foods Ltd Qaiser Aziz was also elected to the board replacing James as one of a retail representative.
Commenting on the changes, Unitas chairman Mark Aylwin welcomed the new appointments. “I am pleased that Rob and Qaiser have joined the already strong board of Unitas. They both run excellent businesses and will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Board and I look forward to working with them both.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Andrew and James for the tremendous support they have provided since joining the Board and wish them every success for the future.”
Managing director John Kinney said, “We are very grateful to both Andrew and James for their expertise, support and knowledge of their respective channels during their time as board members and wish them all the very best for the future and I look forward to working with Rob and Qaiser during the coming months.”
