One Stop, New Ollerton - Lisa Fernley and Mr Reader

After a successful Christmas campaign in 2023, One Stop are bringing festive hampers back for the communities they serve, for the ninth year in a row.

This year, all One Stop stores and departments including its franchise stores, distribution centres and head office teams, have been gifted funds to create festive hampers. Colleagues can donate the hampers to a local charity, community group or even a regular customer who they believe deserves a festive cheer this Christmas.

“Our One Stop colleagues never fail to amaze us in the efforts they put into the hampers, it really gets all of us into the festive spirit. Last year our stores created 4,000 hampers and this year we are hoping for another successful year – after all Christmas is a time for giving,” commented Jack Taylor, community and partnerships manager.

One Stop, New Ollerton have personalised one of their hampers and filled it with a large bar of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk chocolate, Nestle Matchmakers and biscuits for one of their regulars, Mr Reader (pictured), who has recently experienced the loss of his wife. Over the years, store colleagues have really got to know him and were determined to put a smile back on his face at such a difficult time.
