Heinz has added Angry Birds and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to its Pasta Shapes portfolio.

The 205g canned ranges are already available in Asda and are rolling out across all channels in January 2015.

Brand manager Laure Gentil said: “We are delighted to announce partnerships with two of the world’s top licenses, Angry Birds and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It is an exciting opportunity for pasta shapes and shows how Heinz is connecting with consumers by linking popular kids’ culture with our products.”

According to Heinz, the license canned pasta category is worth £10.6m.
