Bear Claws healthy kids’ snacks have been given a makeover for the spooky season.
Limited-edition packs feature the original four Claws monsters re-imagined, wearing playful Halloween costumes. All limited-edition packs contain collectible glow-in-the-dark stickers, with two different sticker sets to collect - one ‘trick’ and one ‘treat’.
The company said Halloween had become a time of year when many parents worry about children’s consumption of refined sugars and confectionery. Last year Halloween confectionery sales fell by 1.5%, while Bear Claws saw its highest ever sales period (up 40%), demonstrating increasing consumer awareness of refined sugar consumption and an appetite for ‘better for you’ snacking alternatives during key seasonal periods, as well as throughout the year.
Made from 100% pure fruit and veg baked and moulded into monster shapes, Bear Claws contain no added sugar, concentrates, or gumming agents and are gluten free and suitable for vegans.
Bear Claws is available in four flavours: strawberry & butternut; blackcurrant & beetroot; mango & carrot; and apple, pear & pumpkin.
Limited-edition Bear Claws are available in packs of five 18g bags, rrp £2.49.
