Bobby’s Foods has cut the price of its impulse snacks range to help retailers offer better value.
The brand’s top selling impulse snacks – prawn cocktail spirals, salt & vinegar spirals, BBQ snax, cheesy curls, bacon streaks, onion rings and beef grills – are being reduced in price to 39p.
Marketing executive Chris Smith explained the move. “Consumers are becoming more price savvy as they seek better value products,” he said. “Pricemarked packaging is no longer new and consumers are looking for price flashes and banners which stand out from other products. This is why there will be a price crunch banner at the top of each pack, which aims to make the packs stand out and draw in customers.”
