Broadland Drinks is adding three non-alcoholic SKUs to its Three Mills brand.
Three Mills 0% will be available in red, rose and white this month (January). The range is vegan, gluten-free and contain less than 40 calories per serving.
The range has been launched in response to an increase in demand for alcohol-free options.
“Whilst it is younger consumers who are most likely to not drink alcohol, almost 40% of regular wine drinkers are actively moderating their consumption and seeking a great-tasting alternative,” said Nicola Cannon, senior brand manager at Broadland Drinks. “Caffeine and other soft drinks are not designed to target the same need state as alcohol; there’s very little choice for consumers looking for a great tasting, wine alternative. Compare the growth of alcohol-free wine with the -8% YoY decline of total still wine and it becomes apparent how retailers can modify range to increase choice and optimise sales.”
