Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Great Britain Limited (CCEP) has unveiled a new digital promotion giving consumers the chance to earn a free Dr Pepper as part of the latest phase of its Try More Weird campaign.
Now live, the promotion offers consumers the chance to receive a ‘can-sultation’ with the Doctor, which leads them to a chatbot. Within this, they can reveal symptoms such as loving Excel spreadsheets or an urge to iron – traditionally non-weird activities – which are met with a digital voucher via Zappit to claim a free 500ml bottle of Dr Pepper or Dr Pepper Zerooo from participating stores. Bottles can be claimed until 6 October.
The promotion is designed to get consumers to try something different, helping to drive trial of Dr Pepper Zerooo’s refreshed taste, and also to bring new shoppers to the category, while increasing brand awareness and driving footfall.
Rob Yeomans, vice president, commercial development at CCEP GB, said: “This promotion and our latest Try More Weird campaign will help to bring Dr Pepper’s unique flavour and brand personality to life, while encouraging even more consumers to pick up a bottle.”
In addition to the Can-sultation, the Try More Weird campaign will also be supported by OOH and social media, interrupting those moments of boredom when needed the most with a perfectly timed dose of weird.
