Greenwood Distillers has announced the launch of a new limited-edition Scottish gin.
Theodore (43% abv) features 16 botanicals including pine, Damask rose, pomelo and bourbon vetiver that have been distilled in a multi-stage process.
The newly released spirit is inspired by the Picts: an ancient tribe that settled near the brand’s home in Ardross, Northern Highlands. The gin is also presented in a bespoke bottle, with an outer carton decorated with original illustrations.
Greenwood Distiller founder, Barthelemy Brosseau, said: “We have collaborated with an eclectic team of individuals who are pushing boundaries in their respective fields to create something special. Theodore pays tribute to the Picts with a bold and characterful gin that embodies the Pictish spirit. It is for anyone who is looking to whet a curious appetite.”
Theodore is available to independent retailers, with an rrp of £39 (70cl).
