Following the relaunch of its Mermaid Gin earlier this year, the Isle of Wight Distillery is introducing its first-ever pink gin.
Mermaid Pink Gin (38% abv) is sold in 100% plastic-free pink bottles, featuring a wood topped cork and plant-based tamper proof seal. The drink is distilled using strawberries to give the product its signature pink colour.
Isle of Wight Distillery co-founder, Xavier Baker, said: “The trade and consumer response to Mermaid’s new bottle has been amazing and has obviously kept us all very busy! However, we’ve significantly invested in the distillery’s future and Pink represents the next big step for us. The pink gin category’s still got masses of potential, both here and abroad, so we’re confident our unique Island take on it will be a big hit.”
The new pink gin (rrp £39.99 / 70cl bottle) is available to retailers via the following wholesalers: Enotria, Master of Malt, Amathus, Tolchards Drinks, Nectar Drinks and LWC.
