Halls is going mini with new Halls XS in lemon and peppermint flavours.
The sliding box packs will feature the Halls power meter indicating the cooling intensity of each flavour. The peppermint flavour has a cooling intensity of five, making it the strongest menthol level on the Halls power meter, and the Halls lemon sweet is a mid-level three.
The launch will be backed by a £2.5m marketing investment throughout 2013, including TV and outdoor advertising.
“We hope Halls XS will help to drive incremental sales for retailers all year round when positioned in till zones alongside mints and other sugar confectionery,” says senior brand manager Jon Holden. “And with outers of 16 that can go straight on shelf or next to the till, retailers could start getting the benefits of the new product straight away.”
