The Real English Drinks Distillery has launched a new vodka liqueur range based on pub desserts.
There are six vodka liqueurs in the Pud range: lemon meringue, sticky toffee, apple crumble, chocolate brownie, salted caramel and vanilla cheesecake. The range has 28% ABV and an rrp of £24.99.
The Real English Drinks Distillery run a group of pubs (red.h) in the leafy South Downs of Hampshire which led to the creation of the range.
Group chairman and master distiller, Neil Patterson, said: “Our house Toffee Vodka outsells the best-selling vodka 20-1 in our red.h group of pub restaurants. It is often enjoyed by people who don’t want to eat a dessert but still fancy something sweet. Having stumbled upon this insight, we set out to not only create a ‘specials board’ range of shots to choose from, but to also make them available for retailers to buy and offer to their customers dining at home.”
Senior commercial manager, Kate Harding added: “Pud is the perfect post-meal ‘sweet sign-off’ and could be incremental to the flavoured vodka category. We look forward to having a bit of fun with this brand and are excited to present the proposition to buyers and retailers.”
