Real Handful is making its debut into the kids snacking market with the launch of Bundlz: new yogurt-coated clusters.
The two‐strong range of yogurt will be available to independents from the end of January. Designed to offer consumers an alternative to regular kids treats, Bundlz is made using oats, cereal and raisins, coated in either strawberry & raspberry yogurt or apple & blackberry yogurt.
Each variant is made with real dried fruit, is high in fibre, has under 90 calories per serving and up to 40% less sugar compared with other kids yogurt snacks on the market. Reflecting the recent Real Handful re-brand, the product’s packaging also features new character illustrations and colours.
The Bundlz product range will be available in both single serve 20g packs and multi-packs of five x 20g (rrp 60p and £2.50 respectively).
Carly Taylor, co-founder of Real Handful, said: “We’ve spent two years developing and trialling Bundlz and can’t wait to launch, grow and continue to develop this range. As parents of three busy boys we were always looking for convenient but ‘better‐for‐them’ treats to keep them fuelled.
“We noticed a real gap in the market for fruit and yogurt based snacks that are not only fun and delicious but use real fruit rather than fruit pulp and less yogurt. Introducing the crispy texture of cereal and oats makes Bundlz a unique and fun snack to enjoy and also helps add more fibre whilst reducing the overall sugar level.”
