Richmond is set to launch three new limited edition festive flavoured sausages, along with a £3m television advertising campaign.
Richmond, the Kerry Foods brand, will release pork and stuffing, pork and cranberry and pork, bacon and leek flavoured products on November 23, available until the end of January 2016.
The products coincide with the brand’s latest campaign ‘Sausage & Chip’, promoted on-pack, where customers can win one of 200,000 toy tracking chips.
The campaign will be partnered by a Christmas advert that boasts that Richmond helps keep the whole family together for Christmas by ensuring children don’t lose their adored toys, the advert will air on November 28.
Richmond senior brand manager Sarah Davies said: “This will be our biggest campaign of the year, and comes at a key sales period. We would encourage retailers to get behind this push in order to maximise the seasonal sausage opportunity.”
The campaign’s first TV advert will go live during a 60-second spot during the X-Factor on November 28, with the campaign predicted to reach 85% of Richmond’s target audience on TV alone.
