Thomas & Friends Fruity Gummy Sweets are available in 150g hanging bags (£1.29) and 200g multipacks containing 10 mini bags (rrp: £2.29) from licensed confectionery specialist Beacon. “Licenses are vastly under-represented in sugar confectionery,” says director Paul Dudley. “There really is very little to appeal to the pre-school market and no properly branded offer in party packs, so we felt there was an opportunity and a gap waiting to be filled.” The products contain added vitamin C and real fruit juice, and have no artificial flavours or colours.
