Volvic has launched limited edition Star Wars branded natural mineral water bottles.

The bottles (rrp 99p) are available in five characters, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, C-3PO and Boba Fett.

These were made available from December 1, ahead of the release of the new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Volvic will bring the campaign to life in more than 2,000 stores with life-size bottle stands designed like Star Wars characters and a suite of eye catching Star Wars display units.

Volvic brand manager Adrienne Toner said: “We are really excited to launch our collectable limited edition bottles of Volvic water featuring Star Wars characters.

“This is the first time we have launched character designed bottles in the UK, and we believe they are great for encouraging families to drink more water. “

Vice president FMCG licensing sales EMEA Marianthi O’Dwyer said the new label had the potential to encourage children to drink more water.

Volvic has extended its Touch of Fruit Sparkling water range by introducing 500ml on-the-go bottles, available in Strawberry & Raspberry and Lemon & Lime.
