White Heron Drinks is adding to its selection of artisan liqueurs with the launch of a British Framboise raspberry liqueur.
The new product is made with Herefordshire raspberries and traditional winemaking techniques to draw out the full flavour from the fruit.
Once the raspberry juice has been naturally fermented using champagne yeast, the drink is then blended with a small amount of vodka to fortify and sweeten the liqueur.
Sold in 500ml bottles, White Heron’s Framboise liqueur has an abv of 15% and an rrp of £20. The product is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Jo Hilditch, founder of White Heron Drinks, said: “This has been a few years in development so we’re really excited to now bring British Framboise to the market and can’t wait to see the reaction from consumers. The essence of our raspberries, grown in the fields of Herefordshire, is perfectly captured in this liqueur offering a new dimension to a wide range of drinks, serves and cocktails.”
