Wilsons has launched a range of canned ready meals exclusively for the convenience channel.
The range is made up of Irish stew, chicken supreme, sausage casserole, chlli con carne and mild curry, and is available in 392gm cans.
According to marketing director Chris Wright, the new range is designed to capitalise on the “current economic climate which has made traditional foods attractive, boosting sales of canned ready meals”.
