Police have set up home in a Tesco c-store’s back office in a bid to combat anti-social behaviour in Dorset.
Officers in Christchurch have teamed up with the Tesco Express in Jumper’s Corner to open a part-time police station, which will be used to increase police presence in the area.
Two beat officers will use the office, which will also be used to carry out monthly surgeries to discuss policing issues with local residents.
Store manager Jon Franklin said: “We are happy to support the police by providing them with space for a satellite station and reporting incidents when they happen.”
