The Today’s Group has introduced an new look for its Today’s Local and Today’s Extra fascias.
Three stores belonging to Northern Ireland retailer Roger McMahon have been converted to the new design with the help of the wholesale group’s member Savage & Whitten.
The Local format is intended for stores in urban areas providing convenience and top-up shopping, including household groceries, fresh produce and news and magazines.
The Extra format is designed for larger which offer a more extensive range of products and services such as a Post Office, food-to-go and Lottery.
The stores carry the strapline ‘What a difference Today’s make’.
Roger said: “We are delighted with the new store format, it looks fantastic. We have experienced significant sales increases in all of the stores since the re-brand and we look forward to working with Savage & Whitten and the Today’s Group in the future to develop the stores even further.”
Bill Laird, managing director of the Today’s Group, added: “The development of Today’s Extra and Local are key elements of our future retail strategy. We have already been contacted by many members making enquiries about the new look.”
