The Today's Group has introduced a number of changes to its Group 1 structure, which will see its existing symbol, cash & carry and delivered sub groups scrapped.
Instead, members will be split into 'traditional', 'licensed', 'impulse' and 'promotions only' categories, and will be supplied depending on where their strength lies.
Today's Group managing director Rodney Hunt said: "We know that by taking these steps to re-shape Group 1, that members will now receive the ranges they want and can comply with, and suppliers can offer terms that are mutually beneficial. We believe that members will understand the reasons for the positive changes and will welcome them."
