Snappy Shopper has partnered with Scottish Grocers Federation’s Healthy Living Programme (HLP) to support healthier choices for shoppers.
The collaboration aims to enhance community engagement by enabling local retailers to actively participate in promoting well-being.
The HLP, alongside Snappy Shopper, is set to support Scottish independent retailers offer healthy choices, increase sales and assist in the goal of achieving a healthy nation.
To kick off the partnership, Snappy Shopper and HLP will offer free bananas every Wednesday throughout August.
The initiative is designed to support families during the summer holidays and ease the transition back to school, the partnership also aims to promote healthy eating habits among children and adults alike.
By offering free bananas to families, it encourages families to incorporate more fruits into their diets, fostering better eating habits.
Alongside the bananas, Snappy Shopper and HLP will provide educational materials on the benefits of healthy eating and practical tips for maintaining a balanced diet.
