ACS scholarship winners Henry Moran and Lackhbir Kaur will be up against young entrepreneurs from around the world at the National Association of Convenience Stores conference in New Orleans.
The pair will compete for the global scholarship title in October after winning the UK heat in Warwickshire, with their plans on how to excel in the convenience sector in its current climate.
Henry, 22, who works in retail management for Musgrave Budgens-Londis, won the retail category for his idea of using corporate social responsibility within the local community to grow a c-store business.
Lackhbir, 26, an account executive for Pepsico, won the supplier category for her presentation on healthy foods as a beacon category in store.
If either wins the global scholarship, they will go to the next NACS conference in Las Vegas.
