Retailers are being urged to share their experiences of crime reporting in their store as part of an Association of Convenience Stores survey.
The survey is part of an evidence gathering exercise for the National Retail Crime Steering Group.
The focus of the survey is the issue of crimes that go unreported by members of staff in local shops. It hopes to discover the extent of and reasoning behind unreported crimes by shop staff.
This issue has been labelled as one of the primary concerns of the Steering Group and the new crime prevention minister Baroness Browning.
The survey, which is available until June 17, can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2Z2B9S9
