Blakemore Wholesale has increased its presence in South Wales by opening its second Bmorelocal store in the region in Ammanford, Carmathenshire.
The 1,600sq ft former Lifestyle Express Extra convenience store opened its doors in May following a £12,000 investment, joining the Swansea store as the second Bmorelocal in South Wales.
The store has brand new chillers stocking fresh food, soft drinks, wine and beer together with a full food to go offering, along with a free-to-use cash machine, Pay Point, Lottery and 15 car parking spaces.
The store is located on a busy main road and was once a hotel before retailer Raj Thavapatham converted it to a convenience store two years ago.
Owner Raj Thavapatham said: “My main focus is customer service. I train my staff to give the best service possible and I expect to get the same from my wholesaler which was BA Cash & Carry and now Blakemore Wholesale. I’m glad to say this is certainly the case and Blakemore Wholesale helps build a successful business together. I’m looking forward to a new exciting experience with Bmorelocal.”
The Blakemore Foundation has pledged to award each Bmorelocal store £200 to donate to a charity of their choice. Raj has chosen to award his donation to Cancer Research UK.
