Blakemore Wholesale is looking to expand its Lifestyle Express estate by launching in-depot Retail Club areas to promote the brand and its offering.
The areas, which launched in 11 of Blakemore’s depots in January, aim to attract new members to the Lifestyle Express estate as well as strengthening the participation of current members.
Each Retail Club area is branded with Lifestyle Express store fascia and feature examples of promotional posters and displays as well as TV screens showing customer testimonials, supplier incentives, retailer of the year adverts and planogram information.
Lifestyle Express Retailer Bay Bashir, who owns two stores in Middlesbrough, said: “It is a cracking Lifestyle Express display in the front of depot. It’s really eye catching, showing all the offers that are running and how to display the promotions. A great idea from Blakemore Wholesale.”
Blakemore Wholesale stores group director Nick Rose added: “Early feedback from customers has been excellent and we’re thrilled to convey these mock Lifestyle Express stores in our depots.
“We’ve had a number of requests from retailers already who are keen to see how they can transfer their stores to Lifestyle.”
