The deadline for partnership grants for retailers under the Retail Crime Action Plan (RCAP) has been extended until November 6, 2009 in 18 areas around the UK. The scheme was launched in August with the aim of reducing the risk of crime against retailers in high priority areas.
The partnership scheme - which enables retailers to apply for a grant of £25,000 for neighbourhood security systems - is currently undersubscribed in certain regions, so the RCAP has extended the deadline. More information about the scheme can be found at www.grantsadmin.co.uk/smallretailerscapitalfund or by calling 0845 223 5454.
