One of One Stop’s first ever franchisees has opened a second store following the success of his first.
Shelley Goel began working with One Stop in Acocks Green, Birmingham, back in 2013 when the franchise concept was first launched.
His second store, now trading in nearby Warstock, was opened by local Solihull MP Julian Knight and customers were invited to a launch event including a buffet, drinks and face painting.
It features a post office and a wide range of chilled foods, drinks and everyday groceries.
Partnering with One Stop made trading simple, Shelley said. “Convenience retail is getting more and more competitive and customers even more savvy. With the investment into a second store we are thinking about our future as retailers and want to still be in business in five to 10 years’ time,” he added.
“We’re really confident in One Stop as a brand and what it offers customers in terms of strong pricing and promotions with a great choice of range; and for retailers like ourselves the back office system makes it simple to trade, with easy processes and procedures to follow, it’s a doddle.
“You don’t need to waste time visiting cash and carries; One Stop takes the headache out of this and provides you with a structure to grow a profitable business.”
