Local residents have rallied round the Hodson-Walker family after the raid on their post office in Worcestershire on
January 9, in which Craig Hodson-Walker was killed.
Thanks to the support of the community Fairfield Post Office has re-opened for business, with volunteers helping full-time staff to cover the absence of Craig’s parents Ken and Judy until they are ready to return to work.
The four men charged with the murder of Craig, the attempted murder of Ken and the attempted robbery of the post office have been remanded in custody until July 10 when they will reappear in Birmingham Court for a plea hearing. The trial is expected to begin in October.
West Mercia Constabulary is appealing to the public for information on a white Ford Mondeo – registration P134 MNM – which it believes is significant to the investigation.
