The first of Costcutter’s premium myCostcutter stores has opened its doors in Insch, Aberdeenshire, with a second set to follow shortly in Manchester.
With its bold black, red and green fascia and high quality fixtures and fittings, myCostcutter allows independent retailers to offer an up-market shopping experience, according to marketing director Ian Bishop.
“MyCostcutter is the third pillar of Costcutter Supermarkets Group’s three fascia convenience retail strategy, ensuring we have the very best product for retailers no matter what their store size, location or customer needs. MyCostcutter was created at the request of retailers who wanted a fascia to enable them to differentiate themselves and provide customers with a premium product offering, he added.”
The new Insch store would meet growing local demand for a fuller, more premium convenience offering, manager Lesley Ovington said. “The ability to differentiate ourselves from the competition in the area is crucial and the new myCostcutter package has delivered a real quality environment for our customers to shop in,” she added.
