Retailers looking to increase their ethnic and world food offerings in-store can take advantage of the World Food Market trade fair, which is making its debut in London on November 23-24.
The show, which is being held at the ExCel Centre, is split into three distinct areas - the Ethnic & Speciality Food Exhibition, the Kosher Exhibition and the Halal Exhibition - and is designed to showcase the cultural diversity of the UK population’s food requirements. According to Key Note, the total ethnic food market is forecast to be worth £1.86bn by 2007, and the show hopes to highlight the opportunities for retailers in this growing sector.
