Spar is looking to appoint a salaried vice-chairman to its national guild.
The successful candidate must have been a Spar retailer for at least five years and will be tasked with championing the group's retail members within Spar's various boards and committees.
Until now the vice-chairman's role has been filled by an unpaid Spar retailer.
The chosen applicant will report to and support the chairman of the national guild, Martin Agnew, and will take on the position from May 1, 2007.
