Retailers have the chance to strike it lucky in October thanks to the new Health Lottery.

Every day throughout October ten retailers will win £50 through the Health Lottery retailer incentive. Retailers will be automatically entered every time they activate a game card. Health Lottery sales director Tony Holmes said the incentive was a reward for the support shown by retailers during the launch of the new lottery.

“The Health Lottery is a great opportunity for retailers to grow their lottery category and gain incremental store sales,” said Holmes. “Supporting the retailers across the launch is crucial. We have already kicked off one of the most extensive field activation programs Great Britain has ever seen and with initiatives like our October incentive we want to further support retailers and reward them for getting behind this exciting launch.”

The game will cost £1 to play and 20p in every ticket will be put towards supporting local health-related good causes. Tickets can be sold through epay, PayPoint and Payzone terminals and retailers will receive a 5% commission on sales and 1% on prize payouts.

Ticket holders matching all five numbers will win up to £100,000, with four correct numbers equating to £500 and three numbers to £50. The first draw will take place on Saturday October 8.
