Click and collect technology firm, HubBox, has partnered with payment provider Payzone to expand its network of collection points.
The lucrative deal means that HubBox will soon be the widest-reaching click and collect network in the UK, with more than 6,000 collection points by 2018.
The partnership means 90% of the UK population will be within one mile of a HubBox collect point. Payzone is set to benefit from the deal with added footfall and revenue from collecting customers.
Damian Scholes, head of product-convenience at Payzone Damian, said: “Convenience services are at the heart of our business model, in each of our 15,000 locations across the UK.
”We believe HubBox’s courier-independent approach is an exciting new solution for online retailers, so we’re thrilled to be forming a partnership to offer our customers a convenient parcel service.”
Sam Jarvis, chief executive of HubBox, said: “The partnership with Payzone is a key component of our strategy to become the most accessible and wide-reaching click & collect provider in the UK.
“We’re delighted to be working with an established player like Payzone to achieve our goal of blanket UK coverage and becoming the largest click and collect network in the country.”
