East Sussex-based independent retailer Jempson’s has launched a range of own private label wines called the ‘Jempson’s Peasmarsh Cellar Selection’.
The range of wines includes a Shiraz, Zinfandel Rose, Malbec, Pinot Grigio and Merlot and has been released within Jempson’s East Sussex stores, accompanying the brands successful range of beers and ciders.
Director Stephen Jempson said: “We are absolutely delighted with our new wine range. Like Jempson’s bitter, pale ale and ciders, they look amazing and are superb quality, we hope that our customers enjoy them.”
The family-owned business celebrated its 80th anniversary last year with the launch of ‘Local Hero’, a special edition premium bitter, followed by the launch of the Local Hero label pale ale.
Working in partnership with another local family business Turners Cider, Jempson’s also introduced a range of four craft ciders made with 100% Kentish Apples. The varieties currently available are Medium, Medium Dry, Elderflower and Russet.
