JTI’s online tool JTI Advance is just a few clicks away from reaching its 14,000 registered user milestone - just under one year after launch.
Launched ahead of the tobacco display ban in small stores, it was created to provide retailers with industry and legislative information, along with key category insights and product news.
The site also provides retailers with training, quizzes, fact guides, downloads and videos.
More recent innovations include a new online price list tool, which has already been used over 5,000 times and enables retailers to create their own customer-facing price lists in line with the tobacco display ban legislation.
Lorna Clarke, JTI customer marketing manager digital and technology, said: “The site allows us to provide support to retailers and wholesalers 24/7 with the most up-to-date information.
“By working closely with retailers from the beginning we’ve been able to create a user-friendly site which communicates relevant information that is essential to the category, all of which is available across multiple devices.
“We’re thrilled with the positive response that we’ve had from our trade partners and we anticipate that the success of the site will only continue to grow.”
Independent retailer Neil Ramlagan, of Jays General Store in Bolton, said he used the site three times a week on average.
“It was extremely useful in the run up to the tobacco display ban and I’m sure it will play an even bigger role with future changes in the tobacco market,” he added.
As a thank you to users, JTI Advance is giving away a prize a day throughout September.
Prizes include Apple Watches, iPads, Kindles, cameras, tobacco stock and more. To enter retailers should visit www.jtiadvance.co.uk and share their business success stories with fellow retailers.
