Kent-based news wholesaler JG Palmer LLP has become the latest in a series of independent wholesalers to be bought out by a multiple operator, following its acquisition by Dawson News.
The move follows the recent sale of Chester Wholesale News and North West News to John Menzies.
Dawson bosses have promised there will be no initial changes for retailers. Managing director John Townley said: "We look forward to working with retailers and providing the necessary continuity that this acquisition allows."
