Budgens has welcomed three new high-profile members to its National Retailer Council.
Guy Warner, owner of Warner’s Budgens in Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway and Bidford-on-Avon; Paul Gardner of Budgens of Islington; and Jamie O’Flynn of O’Flynn’s Budgens in Acle and Poringland all take up their new roles straight away.
Noel Kavanagh, chair of the Budgens NRC said: “I’m delighted to be able to welcome Guy, Paul and Jamie to the NRC. Their vast retail experience will be invaluable in helping the council drive the Budgens brand forward in partnership with Musgrave.”
The Budgens NRC is made up of nine members, all of whom are retailers. Council members play a vital role in the development of the brand, both as the voice of the broader retail estate and as brand ambassadors, according to Musgrave. They meet quarterly with the Budgens management team to discuss the business strategy, issues of the day and share best practice.
Guy Warner said: “I’m excited to be involved in shaping the Budgens brand moving forward, particularly seeing how the brand develops within the forecourts as well as in the retail stores.”
