North East Convenience Stores has opened two Bargain Booze stores under Conviviality Retail’s franchise agreement.
The two stores are based in South Shields and Longbenton in the Newcastle area, joining the company’s 22 other Nisa and Loco stores.
The stores also further establish Conviviality Retail’s presence in the North East as it seeks to grow its footprint in the region.
Dave Pickford, commercial director of North East Convenience Stores, said the company was keen to develop a long-term partnership with Conviviality Retail as it targets further expansion.
“The strength of the Bargain Booze brand and the quality of the franchise package are very compelling for independent operators,” he said.
“Incentives include the opportunity to be rewarded with up to 3,500 shares each year for achieving targets and maintaining high store standards. The bonus scheme also allows us to earn quarterly cash rebates. We believe that the new stores will add real value to our estate.”
Keith Webb, franchise director at Conviviality Retail, said: “Bargain Booze is a great home for independent operators who are looking for a franchise that can support them and deliver business growth. Building strong relationships with our franchisees from day one is the key to our success, and we demonstrate our commitment to them with a range of market-leading incentives.”
Conviviality Retail operates the Bargain Booze, Select Convenience, Thorougoods and Wine Rack fascias.
