PayPoint is encouraging shop owners to boost Amazon top up sales in their store, in time for Black Friday and the run up to Christmas, by offering prize incentives.
Amazon is currently running a promotion which means new customers, who top up their account for the first time and by £20 or more, will receive £5 promotional credit. The offer will run until December 15.
PayPoint is looking to take advantage of this promotion and is offering incentives to get retailers to promote Amazon top-ups in their stop, available in any PayPoint store across the UK.
Retailers, who boost their top-up sales, could win one of 10 prizes, ranging from an Amazon Echo Dot to £1,000 in vouchers.
Paypoint’s commercial director Lewis Alcraft said: “We’ve seen an excellent response to Amazon’s top-up in-store offer and hope to see customers continuing to utilise the £5 promotional credit.
“The new incentive combined with the extended offer is a great opportunity for retailers to win extra business from Amazon customers and have their hard work rewarded.”
Customers can top up their Amazon account using a requested top up barcode and the official Amazon app. Shoppers can also request a top up amount at any PayPoint store till. The unique code printed on their receipt can then be redeemed online.
