Mr Kipling has released a range of individually packaged slices that it hopes will modernise the cake category. Snap Packs will be available in Angel and Lemon slices. The packaging means they can be used one at a time, making them ideal for lunchboxes.

Premier Foods has set out to revolutionise the part-baked bread sector with the launch of the Hovis Homebake range. The range features a white bloomer, granary bloomer, four-pack of white rolls and four-pack of granary rolls. All are made with 100% British wheat.

Princes has extended its Jucee range with a selection of lunchbox-sized juices. Available in apple, orange and pineapple flavours, the range come in 200ml size packs and Princes hopes that the drinks will fill a gap in the lunchbox juice drinks market.

Mitsubishi Pencil Co has added to its range of stationery. The uni-ball Fanthom is available in six different colours and can be sold in single, twin and triple packs. The company has also introduced the uni-ball Signo Scents pens which emit a smell as you write with them.
