Adelie Foods has announced the launch of its first branded food to go offering for convenience retailers.
The company behind the Urban Eat sandwich range has partnered with Addo Food Group to provide store owners with a ‘One Stop Shop’ direct-to-store delivery service. Branded food to go skus include pastries and pies from Wall’s and Pork Farms.
Adelie Foods is aiming to further capitalise on the expanding food to go market within convenience, reaching more retailers with its range than ever before.
John Want, marketing director at Adelie Foods, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching our new ‘One Stop Shop’ at the National Convenience Show this year. With this offering we are hoping to accelerate the roll-out of Urban Eat within this important sector, and we are confident that retailers will benefit from improved sales and profits by stocking the right branded food to go selection.”
Kim Burgess, head of markets at Addo Food Group, said: ”Wall’s is the number 1 savoury pastry brand in the channel and our partnership with Adelie Foods is a great way to get our brands out there and provide a complete food to go offering for retailers.”
The Urban Eat product portfolio includes sandwiches, wraps and snacks. The range features on-trend flavours such as Chicken Tikka Bhaji and an extensive selection of halal and gluten free options.
Adelie Food’s ‘One Stop Shop’ food to go service will be supported by POS materials, planograms and regular brand promotions.
