St Pierre Groupe’s Baker Street brand has added a new 550g sliced seeded loaf to its prepacked line-up of bakery products.
The launch is designed to appeal to consumers looking for seeded loaves in convenient smaller pack sizes.
Containing sunflower seeds and linseeds, the new addition is also high in fibre and a source of protein. Boasting a minimum guaranteed life of 35 days to the trade (delivered to depot), the Baker Street sliced seeded loaf is available to convenience stores and cash and carry depots now (rrp £1.79).
Jeremy Gilboy, founder of St Pierre Groupe, said: “Our insights show that consumers are looking for added value when it comes to sliced breads, as well as smaller pack sizes to reduce food waste.
The new loaf not only offers retailers the chance to capitalise on these growing sales opportunities, but also to take advantage of the impressive growth of the Baker Street brand, which is currently thriving in the impulse channel with impressive double-digit value sales growth.”
He added: “With our customers’ needs at the heart of our new product development, we are confident that this will be yet another successful launch from Baker Street.”
