Mondelez International has put Cadbury back on TV screens this month with a new seasonal advert featuring the Cadbury Easter Bunny.
Airing until March 27, the 30 second advert - part of a £6m campaign - features a Cadbury Easter bunny hiding purple eggs.
The brand has also launched a range of new products including a hollow Cadbury Dairy Milk Bunny in iconic purple, which features in the advert.
Directed by award winning director Mike Spirkovski, the advert opens with the Cadbury Easter Bunny whizzing around on his purple bike as he goes about his mission to deliver Cadbury treats to families across the country ahead of Easter morning. The final scene sees one lucky family awake to a whole host of eggs scattered around their lawn ready for Easter weekend. The new ad will help Cadbury build on the tradition of Easter egg hunts in the UK.
This advert forms part of a wider Cadbury Easter campaign that aims to make Cadbury synonymous with this seasonal time of year, whilst also building on its heritage in Easter egg hunts and its 15 year partnership with The National Trust.
Cadbury Easter senior brand manager Claudia Miceli said: “For many years Cadbury has always been part of Easter in family homes and this year is no different. In our new advert the Easter bunny is a fluffy deliverer of joy who excites families around the country in the lead up to the Easter egg hunt weekend by playfully hiding eggs everywhere. This advert is part of our wider Easter campaign and we’re very excited to see it hitting our screens, helping make Easter an even more joyful one this year.”
