Cadbury will be re-launching its Highlights range this month, with a new pack design.
Available now, the new design includes the Cadbury purple background and colours to differentiate flavours. A purple balloon and clouds helps convey the ‘light’ message.
The chocolate beverage market is worth nearly £100 million (The Nielsen Company, Total Value MAT to w/e 16.04.16) in the UK, and with a majority 54 per cent market share, Mondelēz International is the number one manufacturer. The Cadbury Highlights range is worth £9.5m (The Nielsen Company, Total Value MAT to w/e 16.04.16) and holds the number two position in Diet Chocolate beverages, with Highlights Milk Chocolate the bestselling SKU within the segment.
The brand’s recipe has also been reformulated and will now contains less salt. These new changes are part of Mondelēz International’s ongoing commitment to the health and wellbeing of its consumers, as it works to get the entire range within Government recommended salt guidelines. The launch will be supported throughout Q4 2016 with PR, press and in-store communication.
