Ferrero is adding some excitement to pocket confectionery with the launch of Tic Tac Mixers.
Available in cherry cola and peach lemonade variants, the sweets melt from their sweet fruit layer into a sparkling secondary flavour. The products will be supported by a £1.3m campaign raising awareness among the firm’s target audience of 18 year olds upwards. The campaign will comprise a combination of TV, social, sampling and in-store media. Tic Tac Mixers will be available in both the 18g and 48g pack formats.
Retailers will be able to support the launch in-store with a suite of engaging point of sale material, including countertop units and free standing display units.
“The launch of Tic Tac Mixers is a truly ground-breaking move for the brand and as the UK’s fastest growing sugar confectionery brand, we are constantly looking at new ways to excite young shoppers, who have a love for trying delicious new products that are genuinely different,” said customer development director Levi Boorer. “Our research shows that nearly two thirds of existing Tic Tac consumers will buy Mixers in addition to the core range, providing retailers with a powerful incremental sales opportunity.”
