Hampstead Tea is expanding its range of wellbeing teas with the launch of three organic spiced Chais.
The organic spiced Chai range has been created to enhance wellbeing and help consumers revive, focus and indulge in a moment of peace and relaxation (rrp £2.39 per box of 20 sachets).
The new range has been introduced following increased consumer demand for speciality teas, with sales within the sector rising 15% between 2012 and 2014 to £63m, according to Mintel.
Hampstead’s Chai range consists of three organic variants: Energy Chai, Karma Chai and Life Chai.
A blend of organic exotic ingredients, Energy Chai is an aromatically spiced black tea and can be served with or without milk. An organic herbal infusion, Karma Chai is caffeine-free and packed full of vibrant spices, whilst Life Chai is an organic spiced green tea whose cleansing properties are associated with the health benefits of green tea.
Hampstead Tea head of marketing Mark Nicholls said: “We are delighted to be sharing our premium Chai offering with Hampstead Tea consumers and look forward to hearing what they think. We are confident that the collection will be well received by health loving tea drinkers looking to explore the wellbeing benefits of biodynamic teas.
“As with all of our teas, we have worked closely with our trusted partners to grow the Chai collection according to the highest organic and biodynamic standards and in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem to deliver great taste, purity and sustainability of the product.”
Hampstead Tea pays a premium for its tea direct to the estate, contributing to the quality of life of the workers living on the plantation.
