Maoam has added a Rhuberry flavour to its top-selling Pinballs.
The limited edition variant combines sour rhubarb and sweet strawberry to create a new flavour combination. The product is available in 180g bags pricemarked at £1 for a three month period.
“Rhuberry is a great addition to our bags of Pinballs. The sweet strawberry flavour and the sour of rhubarb work together perfectly to enhance the unique taste and texture that Pinballs offer and our consumers love - especially the zingly, tingly centres!” said brand manager Nadia Abou-Ragheb.
“We know that consumers really enjoy trying exciting new flavours, but they will have to catch them quick, Pinballs with Rhuberry will only be in bags for a limited time only.”
Worth more than £3.9m within convenience, Pinballs are a top-selling hanging bag for Maoam, which is the UK’s fastest growing fruity chew brand. Showing consistent growth with an increase in value and volume sales at 18.6% and 22.58% respectively, Maoam retains its position as number three within the convenience soft and chewy sector with a 14.85% value share (IRI).
Pinballs with Rhuberry flavour will be supported by a ’Catch them Quick’ summer marketing campaign. Through digital, social and PR activation, Maoam will offer consumers fun and quirky ideas for catching the new Rhuberry flavour found in limited edition bags of Pinballs.
