Philip Morris has added a new line to the Marlboro range, Marlboro Bright Leaf, distributed to the trade by Imperial Tobacco.
The new cigarette is specially formulated for British tastes and is made from Virginia tobacco, unlike the American blend used for the existing Marlboro variants.
Available in 20s and 10s, the 10mg tar cigarettes are supplied in flip-top boxes, available in both price-marked and unmarked packs. Bright Leaf is intended to retail at 8% below established Marlboro cigarettes.
Trade promotions, giving retailers enhanced margins, are available for the launch period.
rrp: £5.39 (20s), £2.75 (10s)
